Privacy notice
This notice covers this website and Orbit Salvage. The game works offline, with optional Google Play Games cloud saves, one-time Google Play purchases and voluntary rewarded ads. Availability depends on the current release, region, connectivity and provider readiness. Separate test builds may use Google test payments and ads.

Progress on your device
The game stores progress, credits, earned ships, operation stars, personal records, preferences and verified purchase proofs in its private device storage. It does not ask for a birth date or create a separate studio account. The core game works offline. Local backups help protect progress when a cloud version is restored. We do not receive these local files on a studio server. There is no studio gameplay analytics, chat or newsletter.
Optional Google Play Games cloud saves
In version 0.12 and later builds with this feature, Settings → Google cloud save lets you sign in through Google Play Games and request synchronization. Signing in is optional. The game uses your Play Games player identifier to separate accounts and sends a saved profile directly to Google's Saved Games service: pilot XP, credits, earned ships, selected ship, campaign stars, run counts, personal records, tutorial state, preferences and game reward markers. It retrieves that profile to restore progress on another device or after reinstalling. A player identifier and the last synchronized profile fingerprint are also stored locally. Google handles authentication; the studio does not receive your Google password or an authorization token on its server.
Play Games permissions support authentication and saved games; the Drive app-data permission supports private game-save storage. The game does not access your email inbox, contacts or personal Drive documents. It does not publish progress to a leaderboard or use Google account data for advertising, profiling, sale or AI training. We use Google API data only to provide the cloud-save feature you request, under the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Cloud synchronization requires connectivity and successful Google authentication. If versions differ, the game may ask which progress to keep; it does not combine credit balances or grant paid ships from a cloud save. Purchased ships require separate Google Play purchase verification/restoration. Device preferences remain local when restoring progress. Failed synchronization leaves local progress available.
Cloud profile synchronization is optional. The Play Games SDK also initializes with the game and may authenticate an existing Play Games profile according to your Google settings, independently of enabling cloud synchronization here. Google processes gamer identity, SDK analytics and diagnostics to operate and improve its services, as well as account, device and network information under its own terms and privacy policy. Turning off this game's cloud synchronization does not turn off Google's SDK infrastructure or change your Google account settings. Provider infrastructure may process information outside Portugal or the EEA under applicable safeguards. We do not keep a separate studio database of cloud profiles. Google controls retention of its service and security records. Play Games SDK data disclosures.
Cloud choices and deletion
Turn off cloud sync in Settings to stop synchronization by the game. This does not delete a save already held by Google. To remove Orbit Salvage's cloud game data, use your Play Games profile controls and choose this game's data, following Google's deletion instructions. You can also review access through Google account connections. Reset local progress deletes device saves, backups and cached purchase proofs and turns off cloud sync; it does not cancel purchases or erase Google's cloud data. See Delete data.
Optional advertising and purchases
The Android build includes Google advertising, consent and billing libraries. Rewarded ads are requested only after an explicit choice; confirmed rewards restore two hull, once per run. No age or birth date is collected. Advertising requests use restricted age treatment for every player, a G content limit and disabled publisher first-party IDs. Google's consent SDK provides applicable regional privacy choices. Refusing an ad does not block free play. Official test ads do not generate publisher revenue.
Google SDKs may process IP addresses, IP-derived approximate location, device or other identifiers, interactions and diagnostics. Removing the advertising-ID permission does not make SDK activity anonymous. Google Play handles purchase checkout and payment details. For purchase verification, the verification service receives a product ID and purchase token, verifies it with Google and returns a signed entitlement. It does not intentionally log raw receipts or maintain a customer database. Cloudflare processes network metadata to host/protect that service. Signed access is refreshed by Restore purchases and expires after up to 30 days. Pending, cancelled or unverified purchases do not grant ships.
Why information is processed
We process the information needed to provide the cloud synchronization you request and to fulfil and verify purchases. Protecting the service and preventing fraud rely on legitimate interests, and mandatory commercial records may be retained to meet legal obligations. Where consent is required for optional advertising technologies, Google's consent tools provide the applicable choices. You can reopen privacy options in Settings when available. Refusing an ad or optional cloud synchronization does not block the free game. Google and Cloudflare also process information under their own provider policies; using their services does not make processing anonymous.
This website
The site uses no studio analytics, ad scripts, embedded videos, contact forms, cookies or local storage. Cloudflare hosts and protects it and processes network information, including IP addresses and request metadata, to deliver pages and prevent abuse. We do not keep a separate visitor database. Cloudflare controls retention of its service/security records and may process information outside Portugal or the EEA under applicable safeguards. Cloudflare privacy policy.
If you email us
We receive your email address and information you choose to send through Gmail. We use it to answer your request, troubleshoot an issue or handle privacy rights, relying on our legitimate interest in support and legal obligations where applicable. Avoid unrelated sensitive information. We aim to delete ordinary support conversations within 12 months after resolution; records needed for an obligation or dispute may be retained for the applicable period. We do not sell support information or use it for marketing. Providers may retain their own service records.
Your rights
Where GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Email relaxedstudioplays@gmail.com. We normally respond within one month; lawful extensions may apply to complex requests. We ask only for proportionate information needed to locate records or confirm a request. You may complain to CNPD or your competent data protection authority.
Children and changes
The intended audience is 13 and over, subject to the store declarations and rating. Google account eligibility and parental controls can affect sign-in; the whole free game remains available without it. If a child has emailed personal information, a parent or guardian can request deletion. Changes in data use will be disclosed here and in the game before that processing is introduced; new authorization will be requested when required.
